Messages, loud and thunderous
Boisterous
Invading the space between my ears
Pounding false ideas
Perhaps it’s imposter syndrome
Persuading me to deny my worth
Perception determines my response
Do I accept?
Do I reject?
Do I pause?
Do I proceed?
Delay no more
I have purposed to heal those memories
I am resolute
I am an equipped synergist
I create new memories
Ones not anchored in heavy burdens, flaws and pain
Instead they fly, float and flutter into the freedom in Christ
Healing my thoughts so new healthy ones emerge
